HVAC + Plumbing Project Manager I

Job Summary

Support HVAC and plumbing construction projects from planning through closeout, coordinating project documentation, field resources, budgets, schedules, and client communications.

Harris delivers mechanical construction projects across a range of facilities, including stadiums, manufacturing facilities, power plants, hospitals, and schools.

Responsibilities

• Support jobsite safety through inspections, safety planning, audits, and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate drawings, submittals, RFIs, quality records, as-builts, and closeout materials.
• Identify, price, and negotiate change orders; assist with estimating and proposals.
• Develop and update work plans, coordinate labor, and track equipment procurement and rentals.
• Monitor labor productivity, project costs, billing, collections, and financial risks.
• Maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Required Experience

• Three or more years of building and construction industry knowledge or experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and ability to read construction documents.
• Five or more years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Knowledge of estimating software, project and labor management systems, and computer-aided design software.
• A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil or mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Must be a current Steamfitters Local 602 member or willing to join.
