MEP Project Manager II - Mission Critical (Traveling)

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is seeking an MEP Project Manager II for its national mission critical team. The role oversees MEP project management activities to deliver work to specification, on schedule, and within budget.

Project Details

Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection scopes for complex data center and mission critical projects, including commissioning and project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP preconstruction, trade procurement, subcontractor scopes, schedules, budgets, payments, and project financials.
• Lead MEP subcontractor coordination, BIM coordination, submittals, RFIs, quality and safety planning, and project risk communication.
• Oversee commissioning activities, including testing, inspections, startup, and integrated testing, and coordinate project documentation and closeout.
• Manage, mentor, and support project team members and subcontractor partners.

Required Experience

• At least seven years of construction project management experience focused on MEP systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or construction science, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of complex data center MEP systems and the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Working knowledge of Procore, P6, and other construction management tools.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Data center mission critical project experience and familiarity with commissioning, early turnover, and critical work MOPs are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range of $120,000-$155,000, with possible additional commission and/or incentive compensation.
