Plumbing Project Manager

Job Summary

WDF Inc., a Tutor Perini company, is hiring a Plumbing Project Manager to oversee commercial plumbing projects at its Brooklyn, New York project site.

Project Details

Manage commercial plumbing and HVAC projects valued between $4 million and $40 million. WDF self-performs mechanical construction work across public and private-sector projects in the New York metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Direct projects from estimating and material purchasing through equipment leasing, staffing, scheduling, and completion.
• Coordinate with clients, design teams, subcontractors, inspectors, architects, engineers, and local officials.
• Review plans, specifications, scope, and site conditions to align work with client requirements, codes, and design intent.
• Monitor workmanship, project schedules, and staffing needs, and maintain communication with client management.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of construction management experience on commercial plumbing or HVAC projects.
• Experience managing commercial plumbing and HVAC projects valued from $4 million to $40 million.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and manage project scope, specifications, and schedules.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe, Excel, and Outlook; proficiency in Navisworks and familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit for BIM coordination.
• High school diploma or GED required; a construction-related or engineering associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range is $190,000–$225,000, depending on experience.
