Project Engineer

Job Summary

McShane Construction Company seeks a Project Engineer to support project delivery and build experience in project management, controls, and financial processes. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Project Details

The role supports multifamily, industrial, and commercial construction projects through multiple project phases.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and subcontractor proposals, assist with bid evaluations, and support subcontractor prequalification.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, procurement, drawings, meeting records, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
• Support contract review, insurance compliance, cost reporting, owner payment applications, and resolution of project issues.
• Assist with schedule updates, quality tracking, project safety planning, orientations, and weekly jobsite safety audits.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
• Internship experience is preferred.
• Construction management software proficiency, including Salus, PlanGrid, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication skills and a valid U.S. driver’s license are required; authorization to work in the U.S. is also required.

Compensation and Benefits
