Project Engineer

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a Seattle Project Engineer to support project teams while developing field and office construction experience. The role is based at a project site for at least six months, with a preference for staying through the project.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and track RFIs, shop drawings, approvals, and project document updates.
• Help coordinate deliveries, site logistics, inspections, and dimensional checks.
• Support punchlist inspections and follow through on completion of outstanding work.
• Assist with project schedule preparation and updates while learning company safety procedures.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field.
• Knowledge of estimating, cost control, and material pricing.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and interpret construction drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost-coding systems.
• Ability to take responsibility and communicate effectively with others.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary range of $73,800-$92,300, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, savings, paid time off, insurance, education assistance, and other employee programs. Compensation may vary based on location and candidate qualifications.
