Project Engineer (Industrial)

Job Summary

Catamount Constructors is seeking a Project Engineer to support construction project delivery, coordinate project documentation and procurement, and maintain productive communication with owners and subcontractors.

Project Details

Catamount works across varied markets, including distribution centers, medical facilities, housing, restaurants, and fire stations.

Responsibilities

• Track contract requirements, project updates, logs, and changes throughout construction.
• Support purchasing and buyout, assist the Superintendent with schedule updates, and help maintain project progress.
• Coordinate owner, architect, and contractor meetings, including agendas and minutes; prepare owner pay applications.
• Review subcontractor invoices and change orders, maintain subcontractor communication, and address scope or performance issues.
• Build relationships with project owners and respond proactively to their needs.

Required Experience

• People and project management skills, strong organization, communication, reasoning, and negotiation abilities.
• General contractor experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Construction Sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Procore or ability to learn it.
