Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a data center project near Alexandria, Louisiana, coordinating project delivery with the Superintendent and project team.

Project Details

The assignment involves a data center project. Project scopes are generally up to $15 million or cover designated components of a larger complex project.

Responsibilities

• Manage project safety, budgets, contracts, schedules, trade contractors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate project teams, owners, designers, and subcontractors; lead meetings and maintain project records.
• Oversee estimates, procurement, submittals, changes, quality, closeout, and owner acceptance.
• Monitor costs, budgets, cash flow, pay applications, and project financial performance.
• Review constructability, assess project risks, and prepare scopes of work and contract documents.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field and 6+ years managing construction projects over $5 million; alternatively, an associate’s degree in construction management and 8+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, project management software, value engineering, and project cost processes.
• Experience with multiple contract types and CMR or Design-Build delivery methods.
• Current OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it, along with compliance with company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel and work in varied climate conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay is $89,600–$143,000. Travelers receive per diem and trips. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, a 401(k), paid time off and holidays, tuition assistance, and other programs.
