Project Manager

Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Project Manager to oversee project execution, finances, contracts, schedules, safety, and coordination with trade partners alongside the Superintendent.

Project Details

Projects are generally valued up to $15 million, or the role may oversee designated portions of larger, complex projects. AP serves commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, multifamily, municipal, data center, and senior living markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and coordinate with owners, designers, the Superintendent, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Manage schedules, submittals, changes, procurement, quality, closeout, and project safety.
• Oversee budgets, cost forecasts, cash flow, payment applications, and project financial reporting.
• Support preconstruction through constructability reviews, risk assessments, scope development, and trade buyout.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field and 6+ years managing construction projects over $5 million; or an associate’s degree in construction management and 8+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Proficiency with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, and project management software. Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Procore, and Bluebeam are advantageous.
• Knowledge of value engineering, life-cycle costing, project financial processes, multiple contract types, and CMR and Design-Build delivery.
• Current OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it, along with compliance with company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel and work in varied, sometimes extreme, climate conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay is $89,600–$143,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; HSA and flexible spending accounts; 401(k); paid time off and holidays; tuition assistance; and an employee referral bonus.
