Project Manager

Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Project Manager to direct assigned construction projects, coordinating with the Superintendent and project team on safety, contracts, budgets, schedules, and trade partners.

Project Details

Assignments generally include projects valued up to $15 million or designated scopes within larger, complex projects. AP serves commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, multifamily, municipal, data center, and senior living markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and execution with the Superintendent, including schedules, safety, quality, procurement, and closeout.
• Coordinate owners, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers; manage contracts, submittals, changes, meetings, and project documentation.
• Review plans for constructability, assess project risks, support preconstruction, and manage subcontractor buyout.
• Develop and monitor budgets, cost projections, cash flow, pay applications, and project profitability.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field and 6+ years managing construction projects over $5 million; or an associate’s degree in construction management and 8+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Proficiency in scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, and project management software. Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Procore, and Bluebeam are advantageous.
• Knowledge of value engineering, life-cycle costing, project cost processes, construction quality, and CMR and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Current OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it, along with compliance with company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel and work in varied, sometimes extreme, climate conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay is $89,600-$143,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; HSA and flexible spending accounts; 401(k); paid time off and holidays; tuition assistance; and an employee referral bonus.
