Project Manager

Job Summary

Rudolph & Sletten is hiring a Project Manager for its Menlo Park office to guide construction projects and keep delivery aligned with schedule, budget, safety, quality, and client expectations.

Project Details

The company builds large commercial projects across California, including healthcare, higher education, civic, research, and high-tech facilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preconstruction, project setup, team roles, and kickoff meetings with owners and design partners.
• Manage project budgets, financial reporting, changes, subcontract agreements, and the master schedule.
• Lead site safety, quality management, submittals, coordination, and BIM planning.
• Oversee project closeout and develop relationships that support future business.
• Lead and support project teams, resolving construction issues and promoting effective collaboration.

Required Experience

• At least five years of experience in construction or a related field.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is desired; relevant education and experience may be considered in combination.
• Experience with large commercial projects and across construction disciplines is preferred.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, are expected; Procore and Primavera P6 experience are preferred.
• Ability to manage priorities, communicate effectively, and lead teams through technical and project challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range is $135,000-$180,000, depending on experience.
