Project Manager I

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a Project Manager I to help plan and deliver commercial construction projects in Seattle, supporting quality, safety, and compliance.

Project Details

The role may support light industrial office and warehouse projects, retail and strip mall developments, and multifamily construction.

Responsibilities

• Support client presentations, design development, budgeting, and project scheduling.
• Help manage project costs, budgets, schedules, bid documents, subcontract awards, and profit projections under supervision.
• Assist with jobsite coordination meetings and project status reporting.
• Complete project closeout tasks, including final costs, punch lists, billing, and fee collection.

Required Experience

• At least four years of commercial construction experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, project management tools, estimating, cost control, and material pricing.
• Six months or more of estimating or preconstruction and field experience is a preferred qualification.
• Construction Engineering or Construction Management education and experience with multifamily projects are noted as advantages.
• Ability to communicate with superintendents, subcontractors, and clients, and travel for projects as needed.
