Job Summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a Project Manager II for its Midwest team, based onsite in Des Moines or Cedar Rapids. The role manages commercial construction projects from planning through delivery.

Project Details

Projects may range from $1 million to $75 million and can include industrial, healthcare, retail, office, senior living, and multifamily work.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, schedules, cost projections, contracts, bids, and status reporting.
• Oversee design development and lead construction progress meetings.
• Negotiate and award subcontracts, and support jobsite coordination.
• Coordinate with owners, field teams, subcontractors, and internal partners.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least six years of commercial construction project management experience, including design-build experience.
• Experience managing commercial projects valued between $1 million and $75 million.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, project management tools, estimating, cost control, and material pricing.
• Strong communication and coordination skills; ability to travel for projects as needed.
