Quality Field Engineer

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is hiring a Quality Field Engineer for its national Mission Critical team to support project quality from construction through turnover.

Project Details

Work covers mission-critical projects and civil, structural, architectural, and MEP installations, with quality activities supporting equipment commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and walkthroughs, document work with photos, and maintain inspection and testing records.
• Track deficiencies, corrective actions, third-party testing, AHJ inspections, and punch-list items.
• Review submittals and shop drawings, participate in quality inspections, and support project turnover.
• Coordinate quality documentation and share lessons learned with project teams and trade partners.

Required Experience

• At least one year of construction management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in architectural, civil, or structural engineering, or construction management.
• Previous construction quality-control experience preferred.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, Autodesk, CxAlloy, Bluebeam, or Smartsheet.
• Willingness to travel.
