Quality Field Engineer

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is hiring a Quality Field Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control on mission-critical construction projects, working with project leaders and trade partners from installation through turnover.

Project Details

The role supports mission-critical projects, covering civil, structural, architectural, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations in preparation for equipment commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Inspect field installations and document quality activities, deficiencies, corrective actions, and punch-list items.
• Maintain inspection and testing records, coordinate third-party testing and authority inspections, and support project turnover.
• Review submittals and shop drawings, participate in preparatory and first-work inspections, and share lessons learned.

Required Experience

• At least one year of construction management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in architectural, civil, or structural engineering, or construction management.
• Construction quality control experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and professionalism; familiarity with Procore, Autodesk, CxAlloy, Bluebeam, or Smartsheet.
• Must be willing to travel.
