Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to direct project delivery, working with the Superintendent and project team to manage safety, contracts, schedules, costs, and trade partners.

Project Details

Assignments generally involve projects up to $15 million or designated scopes within larger, complex projects. The company serves commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, multifamily, municipal, data center, and senior living markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and execution, coordinating the Superintendent, owners, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Manage schedules, submittals, procurement, change orders, quality, safety, and project closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, cost forecasts, cash flow, pay applications, and financial reporting.
• Review constructability, assess project risks, prepare scopes of work, and support trade contractor buyout and contract administration.
• Lead project meetings and maintain current project records and logs.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field and 6+ years managing construction projects over $5 million; or an associate’s degree in construction management and 8+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Proficiency with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, and project management software. Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Procore, and Bluebeam are noted as beneficial.
• Knowledge of value engineering, life-cycle costing, project financial controls, multiple contract types, and CMR and Design-Build delivery.
• Current OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it, along with compliance with company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel and work in varying, sometimes extreme, climate conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay is $116,000-$192,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; an HSA; 401(k); flexible spending accounts; paid time off and holidays; tuition assistance; and an employee referral bonus.
