Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead construction projects and project teams in the DC Metro and Northern Virginia region.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop project staff while maintaining a productive team environment.
• Manage project scope, staffing, schedules, budgets, risk, bidding, contracts, and change documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout project delivery.
• Oversee trade contractor relationships, work scopes, safety expectations, and project communications.
• Support proposals, project pursuits, and interviews as needed.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• At least 10 years of commercial construction leadership experience, including five years as a Project Manager or in a role leading multiple large and complex projects.
• Training or coursework in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Communication.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected annual salary is $140,000-$170,000, with a vehicle allowance and eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, ESOP/profit sharing, a 401(k) contribution, paid time off, and a phone allowance. Extended hours and weekends may apply.
