Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

Lead delivery of major building construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and client coordination. This role is based on the Manhattan Jail Project in New York.

Project Details

The $3.8 billion Manhattan Jail Project includes a new 1,040-bed facility with on-site services, recreation, staff facilities, below-grade parking, and ground-floor community and commercial space.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction phases, project schedules, budgets, and performance against contract and quality requirements.
• Coordinate design teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff.
• Maintain client and stakeholder relationships, conduct site visits and safety reviews, and lead project status meetings.
• Track costs, prepare progress updates and change documentation, and address project risks.
• Coach junior project managers and site supervisors.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of progressive construction project management experience, including large-scale building projects.
• Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and safety requirements.
• Experience with project tools such as MS Project, Procore, Primavera, AutoCAD, or Bluebeam.
• PMP or equivalent and OSHA 30 are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary range: $250,000–$300,000, depending on experience.
