Senior Project Manager I

Job Summary

Mortenson is seeking a Senior Project Manager I to lead one major project or several projects, guide the project team, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financials, forecasts, budgets, billing, contracts, suppliers, and equipment projections.
• Lead Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers through assignments and training.
• Serve as the primary contact for owners and on-site representatives, resolving issues and securing change-order approvals.
• Oversee schedule, quality, safety, risk, and compliance.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction, civil or architectural engineering, or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• At least eight years of construction or project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple large, complex projects; construction law and business practices knowledge; and intermediate Microsoft Office, project, and web application skills.
• Current driver's license and ability to travel up to 100%.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $144,300-$216,500, with location-based increases in select markets, and eligibility for the company incentive plan. Benefits include medical, prescription, vision, dental, 401(k) match, paid leave, insurance, tuition reimbursement, and other programs.
