Senior Project Manager I

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring a Senior Project Manager for its Nashville office to lead one large project or multiple projects, oversee project outcomes, develop customer relationships, and mentor project teams.

Project Details

The role may oversee large sports facilities and hospitality projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost codes, invoices, billings, contracts, subcontracts, suppliers, and change orders.
• Maintain project schedules and oversee quality, safety, risk, and compliance through completion.
• Lead and develop project team members, including Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
• Serve as the primary owner contact, resolve site concerns, and support customer relationships.
• Contribute to design-phase coordination and business development.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil or architectural engineering, or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• At least eight years of construction management or related experience, including the ability to support large, complex projects.
• Working knowledge of construction law and business practices; intermediate Microsoft Office and project application skills.
• Current driver’s license.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $144,300-$216,500, with higher ranges for specified office locations. Benefits include medical, prescription, vision and dental plans, a 401(k) with employer match, paid leave, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, and a gym discount.
