Senior Project Manager - Mechanical Construction

Job Summary

Harris is hiring a Senior Project Manager to oversee HVAC construction projects from planning through closeout, balancing safety, scope, schedule, cost, and client relationships.

Harris delivers mechanical construction projects across sectors including stadiums, manufacturing facilities, power plants, hospitals, concert halls, and schools.

Responsibilities

• Promote site safety through inspections, safety planning, audits, and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate project documents, RFIs, submittals, quality records, as-builts, and closeout materials.
• Identify scope changes, develop pricing, and negotiate change orders.
• Build and update schedules and work plans, coordinate labor, and manage equipment procurement and rentals.
• Prepare estimates, monitor project costs and productivity, manage billings and collections, and lead monthly financial reviews.
• Develop client and industry relationships and support sales and account growth.

Required Experience

• Associate’s degree in a technical field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of construction project management, building and construction, and mechanical systems experience.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and knowledge of design principles and construction business management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating software, accounting or labor-management systems, CAD, and project management software.
• PMP certification, OSHA 30 certification, and LEED accreditation or knowledge are pluses.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range is $105,507.61-$158,261.42. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; 401(k) with company match; vacation, sick time, and paid holidays; paid parental leave; and a Short-Term Incentive Plan.
