Sr. Project Manager - Mechanical Constuction

Job Summary

Harris is hiring a Senior Project Manager to manage mechanical construction projects in the Spring Hill, Virginia area. The role is aimed at candidates based in the Raleigh, North Carolina or Spring Hill, Virginia area.

Project Details

Manage HVAC construction from planning through closeout. Harris works on projects including stadiums, manufacturing facilities, power plants, hospitals, concert halls, and schools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety compliance, project documentation, quality control, change orders, schedules, labor planning, and equipment procurement.
• Develop estimates, monitor costs and productivity, manage billing and collections, and lead monthly project reviews.
• Build client and general contractor relationships, support sales efforts, and manage key accounts.

Required Experience

• Associate degree in a technical field and at least eight years of construction project management, building and construction, and mechanical systems experience.
• Ability to interpret construction documents; proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating software, and project management software. Familiarity with accounting, labor management, and computer-aided design systems.
• A technical bachelor’s degree is preferred. PMP certification, OSHA 30 certification, and LEED knowledge or accreditation are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual pay range of $127,719.74-$191,579.61, depending on qualifications and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; 401(k) with company match; vacation, sick time, and paid holidays; paid parental leave; and a Short-Term Incentive Plan.
