Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring a traveling Assistant Electrical Superintendent to coordinate electrical crews on solar and energy storage construction projects across the United States.

Project Details

The role supports electrical work on solar project sites and requires travel to project locations nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical scope, materials, equipment, site logistics, and short-term schedules with the Electrical Superintendent.
• Lead electrical crews, subcontractors, and suppliers; monitor progress, quality, and resources.
• Coordinate field execution with engineers and craft teams to meet drawings and specifications.
• Support project meetings, buyout, budget oversight, and quality planning.
• Promote site safety and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders.

Required Experience

• At least five years of construction or supervision experience involving medium- and high-voltage projects.
• Experience with self-perform projects and commercial or industrial construction.
• Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Current driver's license and ability to travel up to 100% to remote locations.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office, MS Project, and web application skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $102,900-$154,400, with location-based increases in select markets. The position is eligible for an incentive plan.
