Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary

Support HVAC construction projects through planning, execution, and closeout, helping maintain project standards, budgets, schedules, and communication.

Harris delivers mechanical construction work for varied facilities, including stadiums, manufacturing sites, power plants, hospitals, and schools.

Responsibilities

• Support jobsite safety checks, compliance activities, and project documentation.
• Manage construction records, submittals, RFIs, meeting notes, quality-control records, and closeout materials.
• Track scope changes, equipment procurement, rentals, shipping, labor productivity, and project costs.
• Assist with estimating, supplier coordination, proposals, and project planning meetings.

Required Experience

• Two or more years of experience in building and construction, mechanical systems, and business administration or management principles.
• Ability to read construction documents and knowledge of design methods and tools.
• A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual pay range of $51,176.74-$76,765.12. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; 401(k) with company match; paid time off and holidays; paid parental leave; and a Short-Term Incentive Plan.
