Field Engineer

Job Summary

McShane Construction is seeking a Field Engineer to support the Superintendent and help coordinate day-to-day building project execution. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Project Details

The company works across multifamily, industrial, commercial, and healthcare markets.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site operations, subcontractor coordination, schedule execution, and material logistics.
• Monitor jobsite safety and quality through inspections, audits, and documentation.
• Maintain site records, support meetings, and prepare quality-control correction lists.
• Flag project risks and coordinate with clients, design consultants, trade partners, and inspectors.

Required Experience

• Zero to two years of construction management experience.
• Proficiency with Salus, PlanGrid, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to read construction drawings and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends when project deadlines require.

Compensation and Benefits
