Healthcare Superintendent

Job Summary

Catamount Constructors is seeking a Healthcare Superintendent to oversee on-site construction, coordinate project teams, and support delivery in line with plans and owner requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and coordinate subcontractors, contractors, workers, and assistant superintendents.
• Lead subcontractor meetings, communicate schedule and change-order issues, and address performance concerns with the Project Manager.
• Maintain a three-week schedule, monitor quality deficiencies, track costs, and keep project logs.
• Lead site safety practices, maintain required documentation, and support stormwater plan compliance.
• Prepare daily reports and document time-and-material issues, RFIs, and project progress.
• Coordinate project turnover, maintain as-built records, and complete punch lists.

Required Experience

• At least five years of related general contractor, renovation, or tenant-improvement experience or equivalent; ground-up experience is helpful.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• People and project management, organization, prioritization, safety leadership, and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project; familiarity with Procore or ability to learn it.
