MEP Project Manager II

Job Summary

Mortenson is seeking an MEP Project Manager II to lead MEP projects or scopes, oversee project delivery, and develop strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project finances, budgets, trade partner selection, contracts, billing, and change orders.
• Coordinate 3-D modeling and commissioning, and direct project closeout and turnover.
• Lead and develop assistant project managers and project engineers while serving as the primary owner contact.
• Maintain project schedule and budget, and oversee quality, risk, safety, and compliance.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant construction or engineering discipline, or equivalent field experience.
• At least seven years of construction management experience; mechanical or electrical contractor experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel up to 100%.
• Experience carrying complex projects from development through closeout, with strong organizational, communication, customer service, and team leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of construction law and intermediate Microsoft Office and project application skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $132,100-$198,200, with adjustments for certain office locations, and the role is eligible for an incentive plan.
