MEP Project Manager II - Mission Critical (Traveling)

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a traveling MEP Project Manager II to oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection work for its National Mission Critical team.

Project Details

Support mission-critical projects, including data centers, coordinating MEP scopes through construction, commissioning, and project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP preconstruction activities, procurement, subcontractor scopes, schedules, budgets, and project financials.
• Manage subcontractors, project team members, MEP coordination through BIM, submittals, RFIs, and project risks.
• Support MEP quality and safety plans, testing, commissioning, documentation, and closeout.
• Communicate with owners, clients, project teams, subcontractors, and third parties.

Required Experience

• At least seven years of construction project management experience focused on MEP systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or construction science, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of complex data center MEP systems and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Working knowledge of Procore, P6, and other construction management tools.
• Ability to travel as needed for project execution.
• Data center commissioning, critical work MOPs, and mission-critical project experience are advantageous.
