Project Engineer

Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support project managers and superintendents with field coordination, project documentation, and communication with subcontractors and clients.

The company serves commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, multifamily, municipal, data center, and senior living markets.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and specifications, review shop drawings, and help coordinate subcontractor agreements.
• Track project progress, costs, budgets, schedules, materials, and project documentation; prepare reports and recommend solutions to project issues.
• Support estimates, bid packages, change orders, punch lists, project meetings, and client communications.
• Help implement job-site safety and quality programs and monitor compliance.

Required Experience

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field, or relevant construction experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Prolog.
• Ability to read building plans and specifications; experience with design, estimating, or field supervision is preferred.
• Current or ability to become current with OSHA 10 and company safety requirements.
• Must be able to travel to project sites up to 70+ miles away and meet the listed physical demands.
