Project Engineer - Cost Management

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is hiring a Project Engineer to support cost management for its Mission Critical operation in Atlanta, assisting project teams with financial oversight and learning company processes.

Project Details

The role supports Mission Critical construction projects, with a focus on project budgets, changes, cost forecasts, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Track project costs and support budget, change, and cost-forecast management.
• Help prepare potential change orders, review subcontractor change requests and payment applications, and monitor general conditions and requirements costs.
• Assist with project closeout and reconciliation of subcontract and prime contracts.
• Join monthly payment-application site walks with company personnel and owners, and participate in client presentations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field.
• Knowledge of estimating, cost control, and material pricing.
• Ability to perform calculations and interpret construction drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost-coding systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take responsibility.
• U.S. employment eligibility verification is required.
