Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is hiring a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager in Brookings to coordinate project delivery with project leadership and field teams.

Project Details

Assignments typically involve projects under $5 million or an individual component of a larger, complex project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project safety, schedules, budgets, contracts, trade contractors, and suppliers.
• Manage schedules, submittals, RFIs, changes, procurement, closeout, and owner acceptance.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, pay applications, and contractor payments.
• Support estimating, risk assessments, constructability reviews, quality control, and project meetings.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering plus at least two years of related project management experience; alternatively, an associate degree in construction management and at least four years of related experience.
• Knowledge of shop drawing submittals, construction plans and specifications, and safety standards.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, P6, Bluebeam, and Prolog.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it, along with required company safety training.
• Ability to travel to project sites up to 70+ miles away and work in varied weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay is $89,600–$143,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, HSA, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, paid time off, holidays, tuition assistance, and an employee referral bonus.
