Project Manager (Commercial)

Job Summary

Catamount Constructors is seeking a Project Manager to lead the financial and administrative management of building projects, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and the project team.

Project Details

Catamount works across a varied portfolio that includes distribution centers, medical facilities, housing, restaurants, and fire stations.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract requirements, project documentation, logs, purchasing, and buyout decisions.
• Support schedule management with the Superintendent and help address schedule issues.
• Build owner relationships, facilitate owner-architect-contractor meetings, and maintain communication with subcontractors.
• Prepare owner payment applications and review subcontractor invoices and change orders.
• Monitor scope and contract compliance, address underperformance, and support the project team.

Required Experience

• At least five years of related experience; general contractor experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Construction Sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organization, communication, negotiation, mathematical, and reasoning skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project; familiarity with Procore or ability to learn it.
