Project Manager I or II - Structured Cabling

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring a Project Manager I or II to lead structured cabling projects, oversee quality, schedule, safety, and financial performance, and support strong customer relationships. The assignment location will be determined based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, estimates, billing, procurement, and subcontractor agreements.
• Coordinate and develop assistant project managers and project engineers.
• Serve as the primary contact for owners and site representatives, address project concerns, and manage change orders.
• Lead or support contract negotiations, vendor selection, and project scheduling.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or construction management, or equivalent experience.
• Project Manager I: 6+ years of related commercial construction project management or related experience.
• Project Manager II: 7+ years of related experience, including management of large projects valued at $20M or more.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office and project application skills; Primavera P6 experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel up to 100%.
• Strong organization, communication, customer service, and working knowledge of construction law and business practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $113,500–$198,200, with higher ranges for certain listed office locations. Benefits for eligible employees include medical, vision and dental coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, insurance, tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, and other programs.
