Project Manager II - Mission Critical

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is hiring a Project Manager II for its National Mission Critical team to manage core, shell, and tenant improvement work on large-scale data center projects.

Project Details

Projects include civil and structural work, building envelopes, roofing, and interior white-space fit-outs, coordinated with MEP teams and commissioning agents.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction scopes, trade partner contracts, procurement, submittals, RFIs, and change requests.
• Coordinate sequencing and handoffs across core and shell, tenant improvement, and MEP teams.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, billings, pay applications, long-lead materials, and potential changes.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and maintain action logs.
• Work with field leaders on jobsite safety, quality inspections, and commissioning transitions.

Required Experience

• Five to eight years of commercial construction management experience, including at least two years in mission critical, advanced technology, industrial, or large-scale core and shell work.
• Experience with building envelopes, structural systems, architectural scopes, and tenant fit-outs.
• Proficiency with project tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, BIM 360/Autodesk Build, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
