Quality Field Engineer

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is hiring a Quality Field Engineer for its national Mission Critical team. The role supports project leaders and the Quality Manager in maintaining construction quality from project start through turnover.

Project Details

Work supports mission-critical projects and covers civil, structural, architectural, and MEP installations, with quality activities preparing work for equipment commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Inspect field installations and document quality activities, deficiencies, corrective actions, and punch-list items.
• Maintain inspection and testing plans and logs, review submittals, and support preparatory and first-work inspections.
• Coordinate third-party testing and AHJ inspections, organize related records, and assist with turnover and lessons learned.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural, civil, or structural engineering, or construction management.
• At least one year of construction management experience; construction quality-control experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and familiarity with tools such as Procore, Autodesk, CxAlloy, Bluebeam, or Smartsheet.
