Senior Electrical Superintendent I - Power Delivery

Job Summary

Mortenson is hiring a Senior Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical work from planning through project closeout and support safe, quality project delivery.

Project Details

Power delivery work includes underground and overhead electrical systems, transmission and collection lines, substations, and wind turbine construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical site work and review drawings, submittals, and specifications.
• Manage schedules, quality control, subcontractor performance, safety, and resources.
• Lead fiber-optic cable installation and termination, and uphold project safety and quality standards.
• Coach field personnel and contribute to hiring decisions.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 12 years working with high- and medium-voltage equipment, transmission or collection lines, and substations, plus at least 13 years of supervisory experience.
• Current driver’s license and working knowledge of NESC, NEC, IEEE, NEMA, and OSHA codes and standards.
• Experience with high- and medium-voltage cable installation, testing, acceptance, maintenance, and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical testing methods, power industry SCADA, underground distribution systems, transmission lines, and substation testing and commissioning.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is $164,300–$246,500, with higher ranges for certain listed office locations. The position is eligible for an incentive plan.
