Senior MEP Superintendent

Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction seeks a Senior MEP Superintendent to lead field operations and provide regional team leadership for a major data center project near Fargo, North Dakota.

Project Details

The position focuses on MEP work for a large data center project. The role may also involve complex or multiple projects with a combined value exceeding $50 million.

Responsibilities

• Direct site operations, safety, schedule, quality, productivity, and trade contractor coordination.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, site documentation, inspections, quality controls, and closeout.
• Coordinate with the owner, design team, project manager, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Develop site-specific safety plans, lead safety meetings, and address hazards and incidents.
• Lead, coach, and develop superintendents and other project team members.
• Support preconstruction planning, constructability reviews, estimating, and procurement.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of construction management experience, or high school diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of directly related experience.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• Proficiency with construction management tools such as Prolog, P6, MS Project, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of building plans, specifications, value engineering, and life-cycle costing.
• Current or attainable OSHA 30 and company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel and accept long-term out-of-town assignments; forklift certification and a commercial driver’s license are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay is $78,000–$192,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; HSA and flexible spending accounts; 401(k); paid time off and holidays; tuition assistance; and an employee referral bonus.
