Senior Project Engineer - Mission Critical

Job Summary

Ryan Companies is hiring a Senior Project Engineer for its National Mission Critical team. This role supports project management and field teams while offering a development path toward project management leadership.

Project Details

The team delivers technically complex mission-critical projects. Relevant sector experience may include data centers, healthcare, or advanced manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support project administration from preconstruction through closeout, including project records, reports, and stakeholder coordination.
• Track project costs, labor productivity, budgets, bids, subcontractor buyout, and change orders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Assist with scheduling, jobsite meetings, safety, and quality control.
• Manage punch list activities and compile final closeout materials.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of Project Engineer experience in commercial construction.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and project management fundamentals.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore and Building Connected.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Mission-critical sector experience and P6 scheduling software experience are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range is $85,000–$100,000, with the base rate depending on location and the candidate’s qualifications. Additional compensation may include commission and/or an incentive program.
