Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is hiring a Senior Project Manager in San Antonio to lead project delivery, coordinate with the Superintendent, and manage project safety, contracts, schedules, budgets, and trade partners.

Project Details

Projects are generally valued up to $15 million, or may involve designated components of larger, complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and coordinate with owners, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and the Superintendent.
• Manage schedules, submittals, procurement, change orders, contracts, quality, and project closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, cost projections, cash flow, pay applications, and financial reporting.
• Review plans for constructability, assess project risks, and support preconstruction and trade contractor buyout.
• Promote safe work practices and maintain project records and progress communications.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field and 6+ years managing construction projects over $5 million; or an associate’s degree in construction management and 8+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience with scheduling, cost control, spreadsheets, project management software, contract types, and CMR and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Proficiency with Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Procore, or Bluebeam is a plus.
• Current OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it, along with company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel and work in varied, sometimes extreme, climate conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay is $116,000-$192,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance; HSA; 401(k); flexible spending accounts; paid time off and holidays; tuition assistance; and an employee referral bonus.
