Senior Project Manager - K-12

Job Summary

Manage K-12 construction projects in California, overseeing safe, timely, profitable delivery and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project partners.

Project Details

The role requires experience on K-12 projects in California. Senior Project Managers may oversee individual projects valued at $51 million to $100 million or complex and multiple projects totaling $101 million to $199 million.

Responsibilities

• Lead project handoffs from estimating to field operations and coordinate execution with the Project Superintendent.
• Oversee project safety, schedule, budget, quality, staffing, customer satisfaction, and closeout.
• Develop and monitor CPM schedules, coordinate procurement, and use the Last Planner System.
• Manage cost projections, progress reporting, billings, payment collection, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Support estimating, business development, proposals, client relationships, and negotiations.

Required Experience

• Experience managing preconstruction and construction projects, with knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment, scheduling, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow.
• Experience working on K-12 projects in California.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range is $200,000-$240,000, depending on experience.
