Senior Safety Manager (Foundations)

Job Summary

Veit is hiring a Senior Safety Manager to lead safety programs and a regional team across its Deep Foundations division. The position is based in Rogers, Minnesota, and supports projects and service groups across multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop safety managers, specialists, coordinators, and consultants.
• Develop safety policies, training, site-specific plans, and risk controls.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, audits, inspections, and coordination with regulators.
• Lead incident investigations, analyze safety metrics, and report trends and improvement plans.
• Deliver training and orientations and coordinate safety efforts with contractors, clients, and project teams.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a safety- or health-related field and seven or more years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Eight to ten years of construction safety experience, with a civil construction focus and experience across multiple states.
• OSHA 30 certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and industry practices.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Preferred: OHST, CHST, or CSP; OSHA 500; Confined Space, HAZWOPER, DOT, or MSHA training; Class A or B CDL and current medical card.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary of $125,000–$145,000, with medical, dental, and vision plans, life insurance, disability coverage, retirement plans with matching contributions, paid time off, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, and an employee assistance program.
