Site Safety Manager

Job Summary

Harris is seeking a Site Safety Manager to lead safety efforts at an assigned project or location and support a strong safety culture.

Project Details

Harris delivers mechanical construction work for facilities including stadiums, manufacturing plants, power plants, hospitals, concert halls, and schools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project leadership to address hazards, unsafe work, and safety program compliance.
• Support first aid and rescue activities, safety orientations, and task-specific and supervisor training.
• Conduct work-area audits, confined-space air sampling, and investigations of injuries or property damage.
• Document incidents and unsafe conditions, monitor confined-space and hot-work permits, and participate in inspections.
• Support safety citation appeals and maintain third-party safety clearinghouse information.
• Assist with fleet administration, including vehicle assignments, authorizations, and maintenance tracking.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field preferred.
• At least five years of construction or industrial occupational health and safety experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards, workers’ compensation documentation, and tools and machinery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual pay range of $97,733.37 to $146,600.05, depending on qualifications, experience, skills, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; a 401(k) with company match; paid vacation, sick time, and holidays; paid parental leave; and a Short-Term Incentive Plan.
