Superintendent

Job Summary

Harris is seeking a Superintendent to coordinate field operations and keep construction work aligned with project plans, client requirements, company procedures, and applicable agreements. The role partners with the Project Manager to support staffing and successful project delivery.

Project Details

Harris works across varied construction environments, including stadiums, manufacturing facilities, power plants, hospitals, concert halls, and schools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the daily work of construction employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Work with project managers to address labor needs and execute project activities.
• Monitor progress against plans and client specifications while following company policies and applicable collective bargaining agreements.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of knowledge across construction trades and building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices.
• 5+ years of supervisory or equivalent experience on similar facility construction.
• 10+ years of experience with construction and general-industry safety standards and safety programs.
• 10+ years of mechanical systems expertise and ability to interpret construction documents.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range is $157,850-$228,882.50. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; a 401(k) with company match; vacation, sick time, and paid holidays; paid parental leave; and a Short-Term Incentive Plan.
